Westmorland Show - September 2014

A massive turnout of about 33 to 35,000 people on a glorious sunny day. David had an early start to get the van down from Carlisle to the showground at Crooklands before 8,00am.

I arrived a little later by which time things were up and running and during the day we gave out almost 400 tracts - busy for us but only a very small percentage of the total attending. However, seed has been sown and very few refusals this time.

The guessing box was well used and the bible knowledge displayed by children was incredibly variable , with some young teenagers seemingly having little knowledge, but some interest.whilst others show a good knowledge of Bible stories.

Good conversation with a couple who showed concern over the JW's interpretation of scripture and great encouragement from Christians from a wide area.

Thanks to David for being there ALL day and driving the van back after a busy time.

Seed sown needs watering! So please pray.
