Basil was called home to be with his Lord on the 30 of May two days after his 92 Birthday. Basil came to Cumbria in 1971 after many years of faithful service in the Manchester area, many will remember his work with the Cumberland and Westmorland Gospel Van (as it then was) working throughout the County often using his tent to hold meetings in. Basil worked with the late David Locke and Brothers Archie and David McMaster, along with many other evangelists, he faithfully preached the Gospel in the Towns and Villages of Cumbria. He also did School work, and was involved with the little meeting in Millom.

Basil will be sadly missed by his wife Phyllis and family, and the many friends that knew him.
